Porto Vecchio villa holidays, Corsica Holiday rentals - villas & holiday homes to rent in Porto Vecchio
Porta Vecchio is a port town on the beautiful French island of Corsica. It is one of Corsica's most fashionable towns with a vibrant marina, lively port with Roman origins and home to some of Corsica’s most idyllic golden sandy beaches like Palombaggia, Santa Giulia, Cala Rossa and Pinarello. Its popularity is also due to the charm and interest of the surrounding area like the forested hills of Ospedale, and the archipelago Cerbicale which consist of four small islands, whose unspoilt transparent waters and paradise for fauna form part of a nature reserve.
The characterful Old Town has a wonderful atmosphere and is made up of a maze of streets which are lined with restaurants, bars and boutiques, it is also where you will find the main square Place de la République. It is a great spot for people watching whilst sipping a cool apéritif in one of the numerous cafes or menu browsing in the fabulous restaurants with views over looking the yacht-filled marina.
