Plesio is a beautiful hillside village on Monte Grona just above Menaggio. The village is surrounded by rich forests and pastures and offers great views of Lake Como. Plesio is an ideal starting point for some gentle family hikes where you'll come across some ancient ruins and tombs such as the “masso avello” at Cavaseglio. There are also some excellent mountain biking trails to be explored.
There are a few local cafes, bars and restaurants but the main source of evening entertainment is on the promenade at Menaggio which is full of life in the evenings.
