Camargue villas Holiday rentals - villas & holiday homes for rent in Camargue
Overview
The Camargue Natural Park is an area of pristine natural beauty with its countless rivers and inlets. The best times to visit are in the Spring and the Autumn, when the park's wetlands are a major staging point for hundreds of thousands of migrating birds but also because at this time of year, there are fewer mosquitos.
Camargue is famous for its pink flamingos, black bulls, and white horses which are a special breed and one of the oldest breeds in the world dating back thousands of years. The horses are used by the Camargue's traditional cowboys for herding and rounding up black bulls but also for pony trekking.

Inside the city, you can wonder around the top of the wall, which is floodlit at night, and explore the medieval centre which is full of interesting artisan shops, boutiques and cafes.
